CHARLOTTE WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER- Megan & Philip’s Wedding

I photographed Megan and Philip’s wedding at Rocky River Vineyards. it was so hot but I hardly noticed I was so impressed at the changes that had been made since my first wedding there! It is absolutely gorgeous and such a beautiful place for the wedding. It was the perfect setting for Megan’s wedding! I loved all of the personal details Megan had chosen!

Of course, I always look forward to working with KA Studios!

Here are some of my favorites from their wedding.

Robyn & Chris at the Marriot at South Park

On May the 8th, I had the honor of photographing Robyn and Chris’ Wedding. I met Robyn’s mother, Jan at a bridal show. She was looking for a venue, and I took her back to the Pine Island Country Club that had a booth rented and suggested she try some cake from Hansel and Gretal bakery. She wasn’t looking for a photographer at the time, but she did call me when she decided to hire a photographer. The wedding and venue was beautiful and you couldn’t meet a nicer family.

I especially loved the girls! You should have seen them when I asked if they could look sassy! I will also say the guys were extremely handsome!

Here are a few of my favorites from their session.

50th Wedding Anniversary Family Session

I spent the Sunday before Memorial Day photographing this amazing family at the Old North State Club at Uwharrie Point. What a beautiful location! It is located on a 2 1/2 mile peninsula on Badin Lake in New London. Here are a few of my favorites from their session!

Sarah’s Portrait Session

Some of you will remember Amanda and her wedding at the Pine Island Country Club. Recently I had the opportunity to photographer her sister Sarah. I have to say that I really enjoy being with this family. They are great. Sarah takes Dance and had the cutest dance outfit. Here are some of my favorites from this session.

Megan’s Bridal Session

I had a so much fun with Megan, Kara (her sister) and DeeDee (her mother) when we went to Gold Hill to do Megan’s bridal session. I was excited when I saw that they had even brought some props with them! They brought a pink parasol and pink rain boots, how cute is that? I couldn’t post these until after her wedding, (you can’t blame her for wanting to keep them secret!!) I photographed Megan’s Wedding on Saturday, so here they are! I am processing the wedding right now!

I couldn’t decide if I liked the color or black and white better! So here they both are!

Lisa & Jake’s Engagement Session/Charlotte Engagement Session

I love shooting at night so I was excited when Lisa said she would like to have hers taken in Charlotte at night. When I found out where she was staying I was even more excited! I knew there would be some neat areas where I would love to take pictures. Gotta say I also love it when a man wears a tie! I loved their outfits, but I really loved Lisa’s dress and Jakes shirt, slacks and tie!

I was a little hesitant to ask them to ride an escalator down backwards, but they didn’t mind at all! (I have an escalator phobia, I can barely get on it facing the right direction!) I had a blast doing this session!

I booked Lisa’s wedding in 2008. Imagine my surprise when I saw her and her hair was much longer! Got to say I absolutely love her long red hair! I can’t wait to get these on my website!

As I was processing these pictures, I kept thinking she reminded me of someone. It had to be an actress because I am either working or watching TV. There are actually two actresses she looks like. I’ll let you figure out who.

Jake was very interesting, he asked me if I would ever be interested in photographing crime scenes. I can’t stand the sight of blood but I do like watching CSI, does that qualify. He was telling me about the photographer that photographs the crime scenes where Jake works. I guess that would be an interesting job.
